Kicking things off with a salute to house, the mix drifts through all kinds of sounds from garage to uk bass, taking in all kinds of deep tech sounds along the way. Towards the end the mix drifts into slightly heavier & bassier territory before ending on a yet another vibe. Most of the sounds of modern electronic music tied together with a house beat, this actively mixed set is not one to missed.

Combining the recording process & effects of Jamaican dub music with the rhythmic elements of stripped down Detroit techno this incredible mix is a stand out contribution to the world of dub techno. Without doubt a new vibe for the series and an interesting listen for all lovers of music.

Keeping things eclectic this week we welcome GEM_DOS to the series with a showcase of Irish electronica. Interestingly he focused on Irish music that is also available for free online itself. From bass heavy beats to uplifting synth-based sounds this varied mix is immaculately blended together to create a solid vibe throughout. As a producer his own sounds are influenced by all kinds of electronica and d&b, but as this mix demonstrates he doesn't limit himself in the slightest when it comes to selection. Unique and a little bit wacky, this amazing mix has us keeping a close eye on what GEM_DOS has planned for the future.

At our launch party on the 31st of January, Drokkr brought his unique blend of bass-driven dubstep & grime to the basement of the twisted pepper. Keeping things going following on from Nubus d&b set, Drokkr didn't waste any time kicking off his set with some seriously heavy tunes. Focusing on all things dubstep for the first half of his set he then took the crowd deep into grime before handing over the controls to The Dub Doctor  to finish the night. This impressive live set is destined to become a favourite among lover of bass.
