Off The Record - Volume #006

mixed by Dave Desmond

With a crazy amount of genres and a whole lot of funk, Dave Desmond's provided us with yet another amazingly unique mix this week. Expect to hear 80's boogie/electro, hip-hop, disco and general funky electronica mixed together brilliantly. Melodic, soulful and groovy, this is a fantastic mix for kicking back or getting down.

Off The Record - Volume #005

mixed by 7AR

7AR provides a bass heavy glitch-hop mix with all kinds of random influences and samples. The only consistent thing about this mix is it's ability to keep you wobbling! You'll hear a few of 7AR's own productions in the mix too, showing he's not just an amazing dj.

This mix represents the true sound of Ibiza house. Flawlessly moving from the funkier side of things to the more tech. Alex's mix has a brilliant dance floor vibe throughout.

Off The Record

I'm very happy to say Off The Record is finally up and running. After nothing but trouble with soundcloud and mixcrate we've gone with mediafire to host the files for now. You can check out our facebook page which will keep you posted on the free mixes too.

For those who don't know, Off The Record is a new Irish based mix series. Aimed at one thing and one thing only, sharing high quality original & exclusive mixes. No genre barriers and no unnecessary hype talk.

If your interested in recording a new mix for the series get in touch through offtherecord@live.ie. Mixes should be 20 to 60 minutes long, preferably mp3 and as stated there's no genre barriers. Good quality music and good quality mixing is what we feature.
