Glasgow based DJ Hex has been a long standing figure in the local scene and chiefly playing out drum & bass but also venturing into hip-hop, house, garage, dubstep and all things bass when the occasion demands it. As you can imagine his OTR mix is suitably an eclectic gem, tying together multiple sounds through d&b. "For this mix I went for a deep selection of forward thinking drum & bass, spanning liquid, minimal, drumfunk and experimental styles. The aim was for a smooth hour long mix which segues from fast to slow and dark to light seamlessly, taking the listener on a journey through the less dancefloor oriented styles of D&B". The result is that and more, turn up the bass and enjoy.

We're delving into the more bizarre side of electronic music this week with Heggy, for a psychedelic dub-trip infusing everything from techno & dubstep to organic & electronic sounds. Years of experience dj'ing & producing along with a keen ear for the psychedelic side of electronica have given Heggy a unique sound both live and in his mixes. He's also a member of the Ramshackle Dub Collective, an Irish group rooted in exploring psychedelic worldly dub. Incorporating so many elements of electronic music with all kinds of world, dub & organic influences creates a mix unlike any other, a sound unlike any other, and definitely a quality eclectic addition to the series.
